White sweet corn, giant zucchini, purple eggplant and heirloom tomatoes.
Great movie recommendation; You can see it on Netflix: ”Food beware: the French organic revolution.”
Magic Bus cafe will be here.

We have all been conditioned to buy produce with perfect color, size and shape. That produce has been genetically engineered and grown to look good not taste good. Our produce reflects the Minnesota growing season, that means it is seasonal, grown locally and pesticide free. We do not accept re-sellers that offer produce that has been shipped across country form another climate.
Enjoy the bounty while it lasts….see you wed…

Hi folks, right now we have a customer base that supports one produce vendor. We could have 16-20, but it won’t happen unless we get more shoppers. Invite your friends to come out to the market so we can expand.
This week Artie will be playing his original CDs for our listening pleasure.
Its National Smile week and the Thrift Store Fashion Show!
Wanted volunteers to help promote the market. Ask at the market booth.

The 17th Avenue Farmers market is open “rain or Shine” thru Sept 28th.
Produce vendors pick in the early morning to have everything ready for the afternoon market. Once picked, their produce must be sold.
Our niche food vendors may or may not be at these markets as their products require special labeling and moisture loosens the labels and damages the packaging.
Severe winds, rain, hail, lightening and tornadoes will cancel or delay our market for that day. Please shop and support our vendors “rain or shine”.
Thanks to all the shoppers who have came out to shop the market during the unusual heat index days we have been having this season. We want to grow our market, but we will need you shoppers to do that. This month celebrates national friendship and smiles week. Bring your friends and spread the word.

We want to grow the market but vendors won’t stay unless you shop the market. Let’s make it happen! Let’s get those shopper numbers up so we can have more fun choices at the market. Next week is best friends week, bring a friend to the market!
